AL-\u1e24USAYN AL-\u01e6A\u2018FAR\u012a (D. 668\/1270)"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"page\" title=\"Page 1\">\n<div class=\"section\">\n<div class=\"layoutArea\">\n<div class=\"column\">\n<p><em>Abstract<\/em><\/p>\n<p>After introducing \u1e62\u0101li\u1e25 b. al-\u1e24usayn al-\u01e6a\u2018far\u012b (d. 668\/1270), the Egyptian Muslim author of an important work of anti-Christian polemic entitled Ta\u1e2b\u01e7\u012bl man \u1e25arrafa al-Tawr\u0101h wa-l-In\u01e7\u012bl (\u2018The Shaming of Those Who Have Corrupted the Torah and the Gospel\u2019), this article offers an annotated translation of the book\u2019s eighth chapter, devoted to exposing the alleged corruption and self- contradictoriness of the Christian creed.
