In this chapter, Fr Romain Louge studies the appearance of this notion at the beginnings of Arabic theology, at the junction between the Greek philosophical heritage of the Logos and the new theological vocabulary that Christians and Muslims were then developing in Arabic.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">His inquiry sheds light on how the first Arabic-speaking theologians, both Christian and Muslim, jointly forged the terms of their debates about God at the dawn of kal\u0101m.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This chapter by <a href=\"https:\/\/pluriel.fuce.eu\/en\/chercheur\/romain-louge\/\"><strong>Romain Louge<\/strong><\/a> appeared in <em>From Logos to Person.
