L\u2019un des ph\u00e9nom\u00e8nes marquants du dernier tiers du XXe si\u00e8cle a \u00e9t\u00e9 la r\u00e9activation du r\u00f4le des \u00ab hommes de religion \u00bb face aux repr\u00e9sentants de l\u2019autorit\u00e9 politique d\u2019une part, aux \u00e9lites intellectuelles form\u00e9es dans des institutions profanes d\u2019autre part.
