Conference organised by the Institut Sup\u00e9rieur de Th\u00e9ologie des Religions – ISTR – of the Theologicum (Faculty of Theology and Religious Sciences of the Institut Catholique de Paris).<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This conference, organised by the research group ‘Islam and Otherness’<\/a>, will identify the theological readings and principles in Islam that are used today to account for religious pluralism. It will question the way in which the link between unity and diversity is conceived. This articulation is not without its debates and difficulties insofar as if the unity is valued (one God, one community), at the same time, the Islamic reality is declined in the plural: one Koran but commentaries; one sharia but legal schools of interpretation, one spiritual way but Sufisms…\r\n\r\nFollowing text in French :<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dans le Document sur la fraternit\u00e9 humaine sign\u00e9 \u00e0 Abu Dhabi en f\u00e9vrier 2019, le pape Fran\u00e7ois et Ahmad al-Tayyeb ont soulign\u00e9 que \u00ab le pluralisme et la diversit\u00e9 religieuse sont une sage volont\u00e9 divine \u00bb. En islam, la reconnaissance du pluralisme religieux qui trouve son fondement dans plusieurs versets coraniques a d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00e9t\u00e9 travaill\u00e9 par des savants musulmans. Mais selon les \u00e9coles th\u00e9ologiques et les commentaires, les interpr\u00e9tations diff\u00e8rent et n\u2019induisent pas n\u00e9cessairement une vision positive de cette diversit\u00e9 pour tous les hommes, quelles que soient leurs religions. Dans cette optique, le pluralisme serait une providence pour les musulmans mais ne pr\u00e9sage pas n\u00e9cessairement du salut des membres des autres communaut\u00e9s religieuses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alors que les logiques identitaires peinent \u00e0 s\u2019ouvrir \u00e0 l\u2019autre, ce colloque se pr\u00e9sente comme une contribution pour \u00e9clairer la mani\u00e8re dont les th\u00e9ologiens musulmans ont pens\u00e9 et pensent le pluralisme religieux. Il mettra en lumi\u00e8re comment certaines lectures pass\u00e9es et contemporaines s\u2019ouvrent de mani\u00e8re heureuse \u00e0 d\u2019autres religions et fondent une pens\u00e9e de l\u2019alt\u00e9rit\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vendredi 19 novembre 2021\r\n1. Les notions d\u2019alt\u00e9rit\u00e9 et l\u2019approche de l\u2019autre en islam classique (9h30 \u2013 12h)<\/strong>\r\nPoser la question du pluralisme religieux dans les th\u00e9ologies de l\u2019islam induit de questionner l\u2019histoire de l\u2019alt\u00e9rit\u00e9 dans les sources sunnites et shiites de l\u2019islam classique entre le VIIIe et XIVe. Comment le pluralisme religieux est-il interpr\u00e9t\u00e9 ? Comment est comprise la notion d\u2019unit\u00e9 ?\r\n\u2013 Les commentaires des versets coraniques pluralistes chez Ghazali (Emmanuel Pisani<\/a>)\r\n\u2013 Qui est l\u2019autre dans la perspective de la mystique islamique ? (Charbel Attalah)\r\n\u2013 Questions autour des interactions entre les notions d\u2019unit\u00e9, d\u2019alt\u00e9rit\u00e9, de diversit\u00e9 et d\u2019identit\u00e9 en th\u00e9ologie islamique (Nasser S. Gabryel).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Les intellectuels du monde musulman contemporain face aux enjeux du pluralisme religieux (14h \u2013 16h30)<\/strong>\r\nAvec raison, on pr\u00e9sente le XXe si\u00e8cle comme le si\u00e8cle des engagements intellectuels : dans le monde musulman, des intellectuels ont engag\u00e9 un dialogue direct des membres d\u2019autres religions et ont int\u00e9gr\u00e9 \u00e0 leur r\u00e9flexion th\u00e9ologique le pluralisme religieux, aussi bien dans le christianisme d\u2019Orient (Ayoub) qu\u2019en islam (Iqbal, Bennabi, Taha) : identit\u00e9, civilisation, pluralisme sont autant de th\u00e8mes que ces intellectuels vont engager, discuter et interroger.\r\n\u2013 Le pluralisme religieux chez Mu\u1e25ammad Iqbal (Youssouf Sangar\u00e9<\/a>)\r\n\u2013 De l\u2019identit\u00e9 islamique \u00e0 la construction d\u2019une civilisation humaine universelle. L\u2019exemple de la th\u00e9ologie de Malek Bennabi ? (Jamel el-Hamri<\/a>)\r\n\u2013 La r\u00e9flexion de Mahmoud Ayoub sur le christianisme (Anne-Sophie Vivier-Muresan<\/a>)\r\n\u2013 La pens\u00e9e de Mahmoud Taha sur les religions (Mohammed Chirani)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Samedi 20 novembre 2021\r\n3. L\u2019\u00e9preuve du politique face au pluralisme religieux (9h \u2013 12h30).<\/strong>\r\nLe pluralisme religieux dans les th\u00e9ologies de l\u2019islam conduit aussi \u00e0 une mise \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9preuve du politique : par politique il s\u2019agit de saisir le r\u00f4le de l\u2019\u00c9tat en tant que puissance publique dans sa relation avec le pluralisme religieux. Dans cette relation se dessinent des enjeux juridiques, une lutte pour la reconnaissance des minorit\u00e9s religieuses, une n\u00e9cessaire r\u00e9flexion sur l\u2019interpr\u00e9tation des th\u00e9ologies musulmanes et finalement une certaine conception de la citoyennet\u00e9.\r\n\u2013 Les musulmans devenus apostats : du rejet \u00e0 la reconnaissance th\u00e9ologique ?
