The closing conference of this research project was held in November 2021 at the Catholic University of Lyon. It was an opportunity to hear the work of the researchers and doctoral students involved, as well as guests from EHESS and IDEO (Cairo). A very dense panorama from authority rules before Islam to local French and Swiss figures, through Ibn Taymiyya or the Indonesian women ulama. <a
