Meeting with Sheikh Mohammed Abu Zaid,<\/strong> president of the Sunni court of Sidon (Sa\u00efda in Arabic, 40 kilometers south of Beirut) and a key figure in the Muslim-Christian dialogue in Lebanon.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

As president of the Sunni court, he deals with Muslim law issues such as marriages and divorces. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

After a time of discussion, he introduced us to the mosque of Saida and then to the nearby souk, which was dotted with places of worship of all denominations. He then showed us the extent of his knowledge of ancient Christianity.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
