Last Friday, May 16, the PLURIEL scientific committee met with Mrs. Mercedes Torres Jim\u00e9nez, Vice-Rector of Loyola University Andaluc\u00eda, and Mrs. Alejandra de Miguel Jones, Head of International Mobility. This meeting was part of the preparations for PLURIEL’s fifth international congress, which will be held in C\u00f3rdoba from February 10-14, 2026, on the theme “Ethics and Aesthetics in Islamic Heritage”. <\/p>\n\n

Loyola University will host this congress, which will be conducted in four languages: French, English, Arabic and Spanish. The scientific committee also visited the various sites that could accommodate the event: the University’s conference rooms, the Episcopal Palace and the diocesan seminary. <\/p>\n\n

After visiting the Mosque-Cathedral, committee members participated in several working sessions focused on preparing the webinar scheduled for October 16, 2025, as well as selecting the papers accepted for the congress. These were chosen from among more than a hundred submissions, following a rigorous double-blind review process. <\/p>\n\n
