It testifies to the ferment of research on the Qur&#8217;an and to its recent renewal in a historical perspective. But what do these works tell us, and is it possible today to read every verse of the Qur&#8217;an in the light of critical history \u2014 or must we acknowledge that this ferment is still in its early stages? It is with this question that this in-depth session will open, with the intervention of one of the key contributors to the Summa, <strong>Professor Ali Amir-Moezzi.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But the history of the Qur&#8217;an is also the history of its plural readings \u2014 spiritual or philosophical, traditional or modern.
