Does acting in a context of urgency and complexity not require a step back to prevent emotion, and sometimes imagination, from taking over and leading to reactive, negative and irrational responses?<\/p>\n<p>Supporting Eastern Christians is a duty, at least a moral one, that falls to everyone. The future of Eastern Christians certainly depends on several factors, but rests fundamentally on the faith these Christians place in their vocation, whether in the East or in the West. Only this vocation can give meaning to their history, renew them in depth, and root them in their environment, wherever they are, with their sensibility, both in the West and in the Near East.<\/p>\n<p>This book offers geopolitical analyses as well as philosophical, theological and sociological ones, engaging not only a reading of the past and the present, but also the stakes and paths taking shape for the years to come. It gives voice to actors who experience these realities from within.
