{"id":37649,"date":"2026-10-24T21:14:52","date_gmt":"2026-10-24T20:14:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pluriel.fuce.eu\/resisting-ill-winds-repairing-humanity-seric-2026\/"},"modified":"2026-10-24T21:14:52","modified_gmt":"2026-10-24T20:14:52","slug":"resisting-ill-winds-repairing-humanity-seric-2026","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pluriel.fuce.eu\/en\/resisting-ill-winds-repairing-humanity-seric-2026\/","title":{"rendered":"Resisting the Ill Winds and Repairing Our Humanity Together: Christian and Muslim Perspectives"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On Saturday 21 November 2026, as part of the Christian-Muslim Encounter Weeks (SERIC), the <a href=\"https:\/\/gaic-seric.com\/\"><strong>Christian-Muslim Friendship Group<\/strong><\/a> (GAIC) and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.icp.fr\/a-propos-de-licp\/facultes-et-instituts\/institut-de-science-et-de-theologie-des-religions-istr\"><strong>Institute of Science and Theology of Religions<\/strong><\/a> (ISTR) of the Institut Catholique de Paris (ICP) are holding a day of encounter and reflection entitled &#8220;Resisting the Ill Winds and Repairing Our Humanity Together&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At a time when tensions run through our societies, people withdraw into themselves and the bonds between us grow fragile, how can we resist without yielding to fear and regain the ability to act together? Christians and Muslims are invited to bring their perspectives together on shared concerns: caring for personal and social relationships, protecting nature and rethinking justice. Dialogue thus becomes a space for better understanding today&#8217;s challenges and for reflecting on each person&#8217;s responsibility in building a shared future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Speakers from a range of disciplines will shed light on these three challenges, with the aim of fostering reflection and opening up avenues for action in our encounters, our commitments and our everyday lives.
