In the era of the continuous call for the adoption of citizenship and living together (al Azhar declaration March 2017) and human brotherhood and common coexistence (Abu Dhabi document February 2019) as the basis for right human relations, a renewed reflection on the tasks of education to otherness is needed. It is no longer just a matter of informing, sensitising and raising awareness of the dangers of an absolute, inward-looking and exclusive identity, but rather of formulating a way of thinking that calls for open identities without sinking into relativism, and for the recognition of the other as a contractual relationship established at various levels and in overcoming historical conflicts.
\nWhat then would be the basis of the concept of otherness? What can be the relays of this education? What are the basic values to be implemented? Are the basic data as well as the effort of interpretation in two documents sufficient to build the basic elements of this education? <\/p>\n
