It examines the conditions of possibility of an aesthetic and ethical discourse, in which the word becomes the site of a search for beauty as much as of a moral commitment.<\/p>\n<p>In <em>\u1e6cawq al-\u1e25am\u0101ma<\/em>, the analysis of love does not reduce to a subjective chronicle: it rests on a fine reflection on the formulation of emotions and on sincerity (<em>\u1e63idq<\/em>) as a criterion of truthfulness, where elegance of style (<em>bal\u0101gha<\/em>) never obscures the quest for truth (<em>\u1e25aq\u012bqa<\/em>). In <em>al-I\u1e25k\u0101m<\/em>, this requirement takes a more normative but no less linguistic turn: for Ibn \u1e24azm, language is not a mere tool but a divine institution, a revealed deposit whose function is to preserve an order of truth.
