Ridouane Bisdaoune

Ridouane Bisdaoune holds a PhD in private law from Ibn Zohr University in Agadir, where he pursues his research within the Faculty of Legal, Economic and Social Sciences.

His thesis, entitled « Akhlāqiyyāt al-ʿamal al-ṭibbī bi-l-Maġrib: dirāsa qānūniyya muqārana (The Ethics of Medical Practice in Morocco: A Comparative Legal Study) », explores the normative and deontological framework of medical practice from a comparative perspective. He also holds a master’s degree in private law (family law, Moroccan and comparative) from Ibn Zohr University and a degree in shariʿa and law from the Faculty of Sharia in Aït Melloul.

His recent work has extended his research to classical Islamic thought, in particular the work of Fakhr al-Dīn al-Rāzī (d. 606/1209) and spiritual aesthetics in the philosophical and theological heritage of Islam. He has also followed a summer programme at Georgetown University on «Religion and Society».

At the Pluriel Congress in Cordoba in February 2026, he delivered a paper entitled : « Fakhr al-Dīn al-Rāzī: from bodily healing to the aesthetics of the soul ».
