Franco-Lebanese, Doctor of Philosophy (Paris 1) and Doctor of Theology (Strasbourg), Antoine Fleyfel directs the Institut chrétiens d’Orient which he founded in Paris in June 2020 with the support of the Œuvre d’Orient. A professor at the University of Saint Joseph in Beirut, he is the editor-in-chief of the review Perspectives & Réflexions published by l’Œuvre d’Orient, and director of the collection Pensée religieuse et philosophique arabe published by L’Harmattan. He is the author of numerous articles and several books, including La théologie contextuelle arabe (L’Harmattan, 2011), Géopolitique des chrétiens d’Orient (L’Harmattan, 2013), Les dieux criminels (Cerf, 2017), La prière maronite (Salvator, 2020).
