Almudena Soler Sánchez
Almudena Soler Sánchez holds a doctorate in interreligious dialogue from the Faculty of Theology of Loyola University (Granada), where she defended a thesis entitled La ciudadanía en las tradiciones cristiana e islámica: una vía para el diálogo islamocristiano (Citizenship in the Christian and Islamic Traditions: A Path for Christian-Muslim Dialogue). She collaborates with the Andalusian Chair of Interreligious Dialogue.
In 2018 she obtained a degree in theology from the Faculty of Theology of Granada, and in 2021 a master’s degree in theology from the Catholic University of Lyon (UCLy), specialising in dialogue with contemporary cultures. She also holds a degree in business and management from the University of Murcia.
Her research focuses on religious freedom and diversity in the context of Christian-Muslim dialogue, with particular attention to the notions of human dignity and citizenship. Almudena Soler is a member of the international Congregation of the Religious of Jesus and Mary.
