Echoes of the Cordoba Congress in Universities and International Media

Press review. Pluriel’s fifth international congress — which brought together 47 researchers from 29 universities and 14 countries in Cordoba from 10 to 14 February 2026 — received extensive coverage in the Spanish press, in Arabic- and English-language media, and through partner research institutions.

The regional press of Cordoba and Andalusia provided the densest coverage, with nine articles published between 7 and 12 February 2026.

UAE media

The Abu Dhabi-based think tank TRENDS Research & Advisory, a Pluriel partner since the Abu Dhabi congress in 2024, generated international media coverage beyond Spain, relayed by the official WAM news agency. Researchers Hamad Al-Hosani and Wael Saleh presented papers and chaired sessions. An edited volume drawn from the 2024 Abu Dhabi congress was launched on this occasion.
