Call for papers / Symposium “Training of imams, chaplains and Islamic scholars in France in 2021”

At the Protestant Faculty of the University of Strasbourg on 21 May and at the National School for the Training of Religious Officials and Chaplains in Ostwald on 22 May 2021

The National School for the Training of Religious Officials and Chaplains and the French Academy of Islamic Thought (AFPI), in partnership with the Institute of Science and Theology of Religions (ICP Paris) and the Protestant Faculty of the University of Strasbourg, are organising a symposium in Strasbourg and Ostwald, on 8 and 9 October 2021, entitled “The Training of Imams, Chaplains and Islamic Scholars: State of the Art, Stakes and Perspectives”.

Postponement of the symposium and extension of the call for papers

Following the presidential address and the new measures preventing the symposium from being held in person, the organising committee has decided to postpone it to October. It will take place on 8 and 9 October 2021 at the Protestant Faculty of the University of Strasbourg and ENCRAM. The call for papers is thus extended until 1 July.
