Ahmed Kaza
Ahmed Kaza is Professor of philosophy at Chouaïb Doukkali University in El Jadida (Morocco).
Holder of a doctorate in philosophy from Mohammed V University in Rabat (2005) and a higher university qualification (Habilitation) obtained in 2018 at Chouaïb Doukkali University, he devotes most of his research to the mystical thought of Ibn ʿArabī. His monograph al-Ṣūra bayna al-khafāʾ wa-l-tajallī ʿinda Ibn ʿArabī (The Image between Concealment and Manifestation in Ibn ʿArabī) was published by Mou’minoun bila Hodoud in 2018.
He has participated in numerous international conferences, in particular the Islam and Interpretation conferences organised at İnönü University (Malatya, Turkey) in 2018, 2020 and 2021, on themes such as the metaphysical construction of Ibn ʿArabī’s theosophy, the boundaries of a rationalised religion, and the human condition between virtuality and reality. He also speaks in Morocco, Turkey and the United Arab Emirates on topics relating to gnostic ethics, the aesthetic dimension of spirituality, and the spiritual power of place in Ibn ʿArabī.
At the Pluriel Congress in Cordoba in February 2026, he delivered a paper entitled : « The gnostic foundation of aesthetic values: Ibn ʿArabī ».
