Abderrahim El Omari
Born in Morocco, Abderrahim El Omari is a professor at the Faculty of Legal, Economic and Social Sciences of Mohammedia (Hassan II University of Casablanca), where he teaches on Islam, democracy and civil society.
A Doctor of State in political communication and a specialist in semiotics, he is a member of the Moroccan Association of Political Science. He previously taught at Hassan I University in Settat and Cadi Ayyad University in Marrakesh, and was a visiting researcher at the Globalization, Citizenship and Democracy (MCD) Chair at the University of Quebec in Montreal.
