Full professor

Essaid Labib is Professor at the Faculty of Letters and Human Sciences of Chouaïb Doukkali University (El Jadida, Morocco).

His research focuses on Islamic political philosophy and aesthetics in the thought of Averroes (Ibn Rushd), at the intersection of ethics, art, and governance.

At the Pluriel Congress in Cordoba in February 2026, he delivered a paper entitled : « Aesthetics and political ethics in Islamic thought: towards a new reading of Averroes ».
