Michel Younès received at the Great Mosque of Paris by Rector Chems-eddine Hafiz

On 10 June 2026, the Rector of the Great Mosque of Paris, Chems-eddine Hafiz, welcomed Michel Younès, General Coordinator of Pluriel and Dean of the Faculty of Theology at the Catholic University of Lyon (UCLy), for a discussion on Christian-Muslim relations in France and the training of religious leaders.

The two leaders discussed current Christian-Muslim dialogue, the place of religion in French society, and the challenges of training imams and other religious leaders. A podcast will soon be released on the Great Mosque of Paris YouTube channel.

Le recteur de la Grande Mosquée de Paris, Chems-eddine Hafiz, a accueilli, le 10 juin 2026, Michel Younès, coordinateur général de Pluriel et doyen de la Faculté de théologie de l’Université catholique de Lyon (UCLy), pour un entretien consacré aux relations islamo-chrétiennes en France et à la formation des cadres religieux.
