Conference “Christian Thought, Muslim Thought, and Societal Issues” with Michel Younès and Mohammad Ali Amir-Moezzi

Launch event for the “Theologies in Dialogue” chair on the theme “Christian thought, Muslim thought and societal issues” on Wednesday, September 25 at 6:30 PM at the Carnot campus of the Catholic University of Lyon.

With:

  • Michel Younès, dean of the theology and religious sciences department at the Catholic University of Lyon and general coordinator of Pluriel
  • Mohammad Ali Amir-Moezzi, Islamic scholar, Director of Studies in the Religious Sciences section at the École Pratique des Hautes Études (EPHE) in Paris, holding the chair of “Exegesis and Theology of Shi’ite Islam”

The conference will be followed by a complimentary cocktail reception.

Soirée de lancement de la chaire “Théologies en dialogue” sur le thème “Pensée chrétienne, pensée musulmane et enjeux de société” le mercredi 25 septembre à 18h30 au campus Carnot de l’Université catholique de Lyon.

Avec :

  • Michel Younès, doyen du pôle théologie et sciences religieuses de l’Université catholique de Lyon et coordinateur général de Pluriel
  • Mohammad Ali Amir-Moezzi, islamologue, directeur d’études à la section des sciences religieuses de l’École pratique des hautes études (EPHE) à Paris, occupant la chaire “Exégèse et théologie de l’islam shi’ite”

La conférence sera suivie d’un cocktail offert.
