Launch of a website about Islam in Switzerland

In conclusion of the project “Muslim organizations as social actors”(OMAS), the Swiss Center for Islam and Society (CSIS, University of Friborg) designed the website Islamandsociety.ch. It provides the general public with a great deal of information, whether it be key figures and statistics concerning Islam and Muslims in Switzerland or central themes such as chaplaincy in public institutions, the roles and training of imams, discrimination or even local Muslim organizations. The website is available in French and German.
