Eider Muniategi-Azkona

Eider Muniategi-Azkona has been a lecturer in Migration and Cultural Identity (2006-2007), Social Policy (2009-2012), Social and Cultural Anthropology (2011-2012) as well as a lecturer in Migration and Health (2012-2013) at the Mater’s Program European Regional Health Systems at the University of Deusto, Bilbao.

Her main research interests have focused on migration and social and ethnic minorities as well as on social policy issues. Eider has been awarded the Sasakawa Young Leadership Fund (SYLFF) International PhD Fellowship (2006-2009) and has organised several visiting fellowships: Centre for Refugee Studies, York University, Canada (2008); Center for Comparative Immigration Studies, University of California at San Diego (2009), and Center for Ethnic and Migration Studies, University of Liege (2010-2011).
