Giulia Mezzetti
Giulia Mezzetti is a researcher in sociology at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart (Milan) and has collaborated with the ISMU Foundation since 2014, where she takes part in international research and in monitoring, evaluation and capacity-building projects. Her work focuses on Islam in Europe, the integration and activism of Muslims (particularly of the second generation), and processes of radicalisation.
She holds a PhD in Sociology from the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart (2019). She also holds a master’s degree in international affairs from Sciences Po Paris and an honours degree in political philosophy from the University of Milan. She previously worked at UNESCO (Paris) and at the Centro Studi Politeia, conducting research on corporate social responsibility, migration and global justice.
