Ángel Viñas Vera

PhD in Philosophy from the Universidad Pontificia Comillas (Madrid) and Diploma in Theology from the Faculty of Theology of Granada. Professor of ethics, politics and Christian social thought at the Universidad Loyola Andalucía.

My main lines of research are the philosophy of religion, phenomenology and ethics. Specifically, I did my doctoral thesis on the thought and work of Kierkegaard and contemporary French phenomenology. I am currently working on three lines of research. Firstly, to show the links and fruitfulness that we find in Kierkegaard’s thought and Jewish thought. Secondly, the contribution of Francisco Suárez SJ to modernity and the present day. And thirdly, interreligious dialogue with Islam. These lines of research are carried out within the framework of the Department of Humanities and Philosophy at Loyola Andalucía University.
