Public Lecture “Anthropological and Cultural Aspects of the Arab-Islamic World” by Paolo Branca (Cattolica, Milan, 5 May 2026)

The Department of Religious Sciences of the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Milan is hosting an open lecture (lezione aperta) on the anthropological and cultural aspects of the Arab-Islamic world, as part of the course New Testament and Apocrypha: Philology and Interpretation.

The lecture will be delivered by Paolo Branca, professor of Islamic studies at the Catholic University and member of the Pluriel coordination team. The introduction will be given by Francesca Minonne (Catholic University of the Sacred Heart).

Le Dipartimento di Scienze Religiose de l’Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, à Milan, organise une lezione aperta (leçon ouverte) consacrée aux aspects anthropologiques et culturels du monde arabo-islamique, dans le cadre du cours Nouveau Testament et apocryphes : philologie et interprétation.

L’intervention sera assurée par Paolo Branca, professeur d’islamologie à l’Università Cattolica et membre de l’équipe de coordination de Pluriel. L’introduction sera faite par Francesca Minonne (Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore).
