Diego Alonso-Lasheras

Holder of a BA/MA in Law (1992) and Business (1993), from ICADE, Madrid and Doctor in Theology (STD, 2007) from Weston Jesuit School of Theology. "My two main fields of research are the intersection of ethics and economics and religious freedom. On ethics and economics, my current research focuses on how to help Christians to do social discernment in their working life by drawing rules for discernment from the resources of the Catholic Social Tradition. On religious freedom, I focus on the ways the Catholic understanding of religious freedom can help in building peace. In my research I always pay attention to the history of Catholic moral theology as an important source for the renewal of the discipline."
