The covid 19 pandemic has been a major crisis of worldwide range and consequences. Its impacts have proven to be not only deep but multidimensional, affecting as diverse fields as health, social, economic, psychology, education, politics, travel… In this context, IFCU International Research Groups (of which Pluriel is part) are convening a joint session on a crisis which, from a scientific perspective, resonates in multiple academic fields. The proposed theme of this conference is: “Preparing for the Covid 19 World: challenges and opportunities in community, governance, and education.”

This conference seeks to bring together the various IRGs of IFCU for a collective meeting to examine the effects of the pandemic in the recent past and the present moment and to look toward the prospects of tomorrow.

Thus, the goals of this meeting include the following: – To jointly explore challenges and opportunities – To reflect on lessons learned – To inspire and implement creative solutions

More specifically, the IRGs joint session shall be devoted around three topics in the following order:

  1. Community and Social fabric
  2. Governance and democracy
  3. Education

Topics are to be developed in an inter / pluri disciplinary perspective. In presentations, experience can be shared. The added value from Catholic Universities is also to be underlined.

La pandémie de Covid-19 a été une crise majeure de portée et de conséquences mondiales. Ses impacts se sont révélés non seulement profonds mais multidimensionnels, touchant des domaines aussi divers que la santé, le social, l’économie, la psychologie, l’éducation, la politique, les voyages… Dans ce contexte, les groupes de recherche internationaux de l’IFCU (dont fait partie PLURIEL) organisent une session conjointe sur une crise qui, d’un point de vue scientifique, résonne dans de multiples domaines académiques. Le thème proposé pour cette conférence est : “Défis et opportunités du monde COVID-19 : communauté, gouvernance, éducation”.  

Cette conférence vise à réunir les différents groupes de travail internationaux de la FIUC pour une rencontre collective afin d’examiner les effets de la pandémie dans le passé récent et le moment présent et de se tourner vers les perspectives de demain.

Ainsi, les objectifs de cette réunion sont les suivants : – Explorer conjointement les défis et les opportunités – Réfléchir aux enseignements que l’on peut en tirer – Inspirer et mettre en œuvre des solutions créatives

Plus précisément, la session conjointe des groupes sera consacrée à trois sujets dans l’ordre suivant :

  1. Tissage communautaire et social
  2. Gouvernance et démocratie
  3. Éducation

Les sujets doivent être développés dans une perspective inter / pluridisciplinaire. Dans les présentations, des expériences peuvent être partagées. La valeur ajoutée des universités catholiques doit également être soulignée.
