Former director of the Institut Catholique de la Méditerranée (ICM, Marseille), Rémi Caucanas is an associate researcher at the Institut de Recherches et d’Etudes sur le Monde Arabo-Musulman (IREMAM, Aix-en-Provence) and the Pontifical Institute for Arabic and Islamic Studies (PISAI, Rome). He taught at Tangaza University College (TUC, Nairobi) from 2018 to 2021. He now lives in Ottawa where he teaches the history of Muslim-Christian relations at Saint Paul University.
