Maryam Ballout

Maryam Ballout is a researcher in Islamic studies and a freelance speaker on Islam and interreligious dialogue. She is Assistant to the Cluster on Christian-Muslim Relations of the HEST Programme of the Jesuit Universities of Europe (Kircher Network). Trained in Beirut, she holds a Bachelor’s degree in Islamic Studies and Jurisprudence (Al-Mostafa International University, a Shia seminary) and a Bachelor’s degree in Comparative Religions, pursued jointly from 2015 to 2019, followed by a Master’s degree in Islamic-Christian Relations obtained in 2019 at Université Saint-Joseph de Beyrouth. Her work focuses on mutual understanding between religious communities and on building bridges through Christian-Muslim dialogue.
