Spiritualities of Encounter: Scriptural and Theological Resources for Dialogue

On Tuesday 10 November 2026, the Grand Mosque of Paris opens its centenary interreligious symposium with a first evening entitled “Spiritualities of Encounter: Scriptural and Theological Resources for Dialogue”. Where, in our texts and traditions, can we find what makes encountering the other possible and fruitful? Speakers:

  • Sheikh Khaled Larbi, imam at the Grand Mosque of Paris;
  • Pierre Kempf, Adventist pastor;
  • Father Emmanuel Pisani, O.P., director of the Dominican Institute for Oriental Studies (IDEO) in Cairo;
  • Michel Rostagnat, president of the Fraternité d’Abraham.

Held to mark the centenary of the Grand Mosque of Paris, the symposium comprises four evenings, from 10 November to 9 December 2026.
