Erwin Tanner
Director of missio Switzerland (Director of the Pontifical Missionary Works in Switzerland). Previously Secretary of the Commission for Dialogue with Muslims at the Conference of Swiss Bishops.
“For 20 years I have been working with various religious communities at home and abroad and have a well-developed network of relevant people.
I know the religious topics of political and social relevance and the interfaces between the secular and religious world and have a profound knowledge of theology, law and religious law.
I have acquired special practical cultural and language skills from various business trips in the Near and Middle East. For these trips, I am largely responsible for the planning and implementation and work together with government, civil and ecclesiastical authorities in the destination countries.
