Who is an authority in Islam in Switzerland and France?

Elements of answers to a question studied by the research group on the theme “Authority and regulation in Islam” of the Centre for the Study of Cultures and Religions (CECR, UCLy)

The question is divided into three parts:

  • “Who is an authority in Islam in Switzerland?” by Erwin Tanner
  • “Who is an authority in Islam in France?” by Michel Younès
  • “Who is an authority in Islamist circles in France?” by Haoues Seniguer

The group brings together 15 researchers from various universities and disciplines.

Éléments de réponses à une question étudiée par le groupe de recherche sur le thème “Autorité et régulation en islam” du Centre d’études des cultures et des religions (CECR, UCLy)

La question est déclinée selon les trois éléments suivants :

  • “Qui fait figure d’autorité en islam en Suisse ?”, par Erwin Tanner
  • “Qui fait figure d’autorité en islam en France ?”, par Michel Younès
  • “Qui fait figure d’autorité dans les milieux islamistes en France ?”, par Haoues Seniguer

Le groupe regroupe 15 chercheurs de diverses universités et disciplines.
