Abstract
In this chapter of the Orthodox Handbook on Ecumenism (ed. Pantelis Kalaitzidis et al., Volos Academy, World Council of Churches and Regnum Books, 2014), Angeliki Ziaka analyses the stakes of the encounter between Orthodoxy and Islam.
She highlights the long historical coexistence of Orthodox Christians and the Muslim world, and the theological resources for a renewed Orthodox engagement in dialogue.

Dans ce chapitre du Orthodox Handbook on Ecumenism (dir. Pantelis Kalaitzidis et al., Académie de Volos, Conseil œcuménique des Églises et Regnum Books, 2014), Angeliki Ziaka analyse les enjeux de la rencontre entre l’orthodoxie et l’islam.
Elle y montre la longue coexistence historique des chrétiens orthodoxes et du monde musulman, et les ressources théologiques d’un engagement orthodoxe renouvelé dans le dialogue.
