The Muslim Brotherhood in International Relations: Roles and Outcomes

In this book published by TRENDS Research & Advisory (Abu Dhabi, May 2026), Wael Saleh, a member of Pluriel‘s coordination committee, examines the place and modes of action of the Muslim Brotherhood in international relations. The study identifies the roles the Brotherhood takes on as a transnational actor, along with the effects of its strategies on regional and global balances.

Drawing on political sociology, network analysis and the study of ideological production, Saleh gauges the organisation’s recent evolution. The book maps the Brotherhood as a diplomatic, media and religious actor, distinguishing between national, regional and international levels of engagement.

Wael Saleh took part in the 2026 Pluriel Congress in Cordoba.
