The term “dahr” (fate) in the Arabic language and its literature

It is obviously not possible to examine the entire Arab literary production: we will therefore start from the many examples of pre-Islamic verses to dwell then over the centuries on the reproposition of themes among the authors and the periods of greatest importance until we approach the modern and contemporary era. In this regard, we believe that incursions into popular expressions and proverbs can confirm the persistence of terms and concepts that are not too distant, despite the time that has elapsed, but also different according to the changed context and which continue to raise important questions. Article published in Arabic in the Nile Valley Journal for Human, Social and Educational Studies and Research
