Ali Mostfa, professor of linguistics and discourse analysis at the Catholic University of Lyon, analyses the semantic shifts about the notion of religious radicalism, particularly since the September 11 attacks in the United States, in this article published in the journal Acta pro Dialoguo, edited by the Vatican’s Pontifical Council for Interreligious Dialogue. This issue brings together the proceedings of a webinar held on 26 and 27 January 2021 on the theme “Religious Radicalism. Christian and Muslim understandings and responses”.
