The Role of Islam and its Organizations in Cooperating on the Goals of the Agenda 2030
A chapter by Antonio Angelucci in Human Rights, Religions and the United Nations Agenda 2030 (A. Angelucci, R. Bottoni, G. Camilleri, A. Cupri eds., Ledizioni, 2025).
The author presents Islamic ecological jurisprudence. Drawing on the Qur’an and classical legal traditions, he shows how the principles of khilāfah (humanity’s trusteeship over creation), mīzān (balance) and iṣlāḥ (reform) structure a moral vision of sustainability. He examines how Islamic ethics integrates spiritual accountability with institutional mechanisms, and the role of Muslim organisations in cooperating on the goals of the United Nations 2030 Agenda.
Chapitre de Antonio Angelucci paru dans Human Rights, Religions and the United Nations Agenda 2030 (A. Angelucci, R. Bottoni, G. Camilleri, A. Cupri dir., Ledizioni, 2025).
Human Rights, Religions and the United Nations Agenda 2030 (تحرير أنجيلوتشي وبوتّوني وكاميلّيري وكوبري، دار Ledizioni، 2025).
